AGRO CAREER & JOB FAIR
Indian Agriculture Industry is attracting the attention of the world and is set to be the food factory of the world. The industry therefore is in need of skilled and educated manpower in all areas of agriculture - agronomy, seed, equipment, implements, feed, management, finance, veterinary etc to meet the demand of the ever growing industry. Keeping in mind the growing need of the talent, an Agro Career and Job Fair is being organized at Krishi 2011 on 5th December 2011 for the first time in India.
Agro Career & Job Fair 2011 - Provides an indispensable platform for the public and private sector employers and educational institutions offering myriad career and education options to aspirants. It comprises of two key sections - Employment and Education. Both the sections have synergies in the broad framework of life- long career planning for the individual. They complement each other in creating an all-inclusive showcase to present and engage individuals with a holistic understanding of education and career options and opportunities in today's challenging but vibrant global economy.
The Employment Section
Profiles of agro industries from public and private sectors encompassing small and medium - sized enterprises to multi-national companies, government bodies as well as associations would be collated and would be available as part of Krishi 2011. The fair will offer an avenue for these organizations to create awareness of job opportunities in their respective organisations and for young professionals to leverage the opportunities.
The Education Section
Hosts both leading local and international educational institutions, universities and presents them an effective platform to showcase their training courses to individuals seeking formal education in agriculture or upgrading their current skills.
